St Marys Recreation Center

The Department of Parks and Recreation of the City of New York awarded contract X045-116M to Infinity Contracting Services, Corp. the reconstruction of the HVAC System for the Pool and Gymnasium of the St. Mary's Recreation Center in the Bronx, NY. This project was awarded August 4, 2017 and the notice to proceed date was December 4, 2017 with a duration of 365 days. This project was a New York City PLA job. 

The project consisted of furnishing and installing a 30-ton Dessert Aire dehumidification unit to serve the pool, two 20-ton Carrier roof top units to serve the gymnasium and three Cook exhaust fans to serve the pool and locker rooms. All of these units were installed in the roof and required new aluminum ductwork to be installed to all of these locations. All electrical and necessary controls to get the units to perform as per the sequence of operations was also included. In addition, as an architectural feature the project called to install a structural fence on the roof to cover the units and make it visibly appealing to the public.
